Tanmay Somani

Founder, Shopper's Mate · Brisbane, Australia

Founder Tanmay Somani has worked at checkout and managed grocery operations, including stock, ordering and dead-stock control. That experience exposed the gap between the daily reality of independent retail and the disconnected systems many teams are expected to use.

With a background in computational data science and computer engineering, he is building Shopper's Mate around a practical principle: record every sale reliably, make loyalty easy at checkout and earn the right to add intelligence from real retailer data.
